13801-Is it really on

hey, have you ever called this number for starting an internet connection, which is advertised as cheap, fast and ALL-IN-ONE. well, i was amazed in the beginning too.i was excited also and called up and filled a bunch of personal information. and then...waiting...waiting...waiting...for someone come to bring the equipment for the connection. during the period of waiting, i called the ALL-IN-ONE and no one answered. then i tried to send them an email informing them i would like to set up my connection asap. but no one ever replied my email (not acutally an email but an internet feedback form. they simple doesnt provide any email on their website.) then i start wondering. is it a serious company. seems so. their billbroad ads are showing everywhere in town, telling people their neighborhood is ON. is it really ON? nobody knows. weeks ago, i put together my last courage and called again. then they have already changed the 800 number to this 13801 one. simply i asked about the price of their internet connection offer. the lady seemed work for another company.she didnt know anything about anything i asked. every time she had to put me on hold and say "sorry i have to ask someone else" she put me on hold for like five times then i got pissed and said bye. this self flattered company doesnt seem to be professional whatsoever. i heard from source, the background Dutch company is quite good in this business. well, not for me i guess. or it is greeklized and change its nature. i simply dont care any more. i am hanging on with my old crashing internet connection. it's slow. it's not cheap. it's not ALL-IN-ONE. But it has customer service with even english speaking answering machine.

I'm not a Plastic Bag

Anya Hindmarch lauched the "go-green" bag for shopping called "i'm not a plastic bag". it's a nice neat looking bag. but when i search over internet trying to get one, i found out the dirty side of this bag. it says on Anya Hindmarch website the bags were sold out in US and they cancelled the new store lauch in asia for safety reason. and the reason they design this bag, they say, is "We are trying to use our influence in a positive way to make it fashionable not to use plastic bags, to raise awareness of this issue and to encourage people to make small changes in their behaviour. " yeah right. i agree. a simple bag priced at almost 40 British pound. and you know what, the bag is made in China. if you search over Chinese ebay you will find the price of this bag vary from 3 euro to 50 euro. they all called "i m not a plastic bag" and they all look like it. i wonder, if the company wants to do something for the earth. why don't they give out the bag for free. people say, if they give it out for free you will never remember the reason of getting the bag - not use plastic and do something to protect the earth. the cost of making the bag is not so much i guess. why can they make it more approachable. if people have the enthusiasm to queue for the bag, why cant they just start up using whatever non plastic bag they can find in their life. jesus. i just cant get it. i m thinking, Chinese did right to fake the bag this time.
I loved this bag but now i wil not try to get one. i will make one of my own. Not plastic, of course.
